Angus is my current companion and sixth in a long line of Groenendaels that have shared my life since 1970. He was born on 18. August 2003.
For those that do not know the Groenendael: this breed is one of the four varieties of Belgian Shepherds.
Angus and I have a very varied life; he comes to cavy shows with me and in return I make sure he gets long walks in the countryside and if he is very lucky hikes in the Lake District and other hilly places in the UK.
Two or sometimes three days a week we have another Groenendael "on loan". He is Alfie and for want of a better word; Alfie is Angus' nephew.
Alfie was born on 30. June 2007, so is just coming out of "puppyhood".
Angus and Alfie like each other a lot and, when together, share every moment in the day. Whether it involves a walk in the park or playing or mucking around the house or the garden.
