Verena Fuchs, originally from Germany, and her husband Rui Martin started the cavy fancy in Portugal. CAPI, the national club is a thriving national club and holds at least 5 shows a year. Amongst Verena and Rui's favourite breeds are American Cresteds, Tans and Longhairs.
Monica Cabre (Mireia's sister) has a successful stud of Teddies and is building up an equally impressive strain of Self Creams.

Linda and Bjorn live in a beautiful old Norwegian farmhouse. The basement has been kitted out to serve as the living quarters for the pigs. Amongst most varieties of longhairs can also be found Teddies, Tans and Foxes, to name but a few of the breeds that she breeds and shows.
Rui and Susanna Abreu concentrate on Shelties and Coronets. Their abode in Lisbon prohibits them from keeping large numbers, so they deliver quality in small numbers.
Jens Lindgren has been at the top of his game for about 25 years. He is probably best known on the show bench for his longhairs in a multitude of varieties, but do not underestimate his Teddies, Self Creams and DE Whites (the latter two breeds are possibly from memory and a few years ago)
