The "dreaded" move came in May 2009 and, once again, all animals had to be moved. Once again, the shed could not be moved, so a new one had to be acquired.
I faced a site that had been left untouched for about 10 years, and as is so common in the English countryside, was totally overgrown by, amongst others, 3 to 4 foot high nettles and brambles weaving through everything everywhere. It took some time to remove all this rubbish and prepare the site for the arrival of the shed (Fase 1).
The next thing was to put a base down for the shed to stand on (Fase 2).
And then finally, the shed arrived and was put in place.
My cavy units were too high for the new shed, so the top layer had to be sawn off of all of them [not easy with a blunt old hand saw]. I managed it all eventually and the top pens are currently used around the windows of the shed and already house their first inhabitants.
All units were then moved into the shed and the cavies took domicile in their new surroundings.
Finally, a flower basket was put together and a mesh door made against possible visits by local cats etc. and the shed was up and running (fase 3).
